I came to Malama Na Pua about 3 years ago. I've had 3 open heart sugeries and a multiple other injuries and sickness. Bula has always helped me get better. My latest crisis was I had a minor stroke, my smile was a little off and I could'nt feel and squeeze with my left hand and I could'nt breathe I felt like I was dying. In the emergency room I had to be put on oxygen so I could breath better. Two days later went to see Bula and got lomi from him and he found a big lump under my heart Bula lomi it out and with in seconds I could breathe and the color in my face came back. I did'nt feel like I was dying any more. 2 months before that I had a defibulator put in my chest/shoulder Bula came back from Japan and checked it out there was a 4 inch incision Bula said let me put some La'au (Hawaiian Herbs) on it and my incision healed so nice and neat but where there was still tape it didn't heal as nice. Bula has helped me and my family so many times with all kinds of problems and ailments.
